SPINAL TWIST & DOWNSIDE RECTUS FEMORIS STRETCH | Stretch Therapy Part 1
I was recently invited back LifeTime Athletic Club to perform a hands-on mobility workshop with their amazing trainers.
I thought you guys might like to get a sneak peak into that training. In this video, I share some tips on how to perform the hands-on Spinal Twist Stretch and Downside Rectus Femoris Stretch.
For the Spinal Twist:
š Have your patient or client grab the table for stability
š Lift and turn the hips to avoid impingement
š Don’t push, let gravity do the work for you
For the Downside Rectus Femoris Stretch:
š Have your client the opposite knee to chest to protect the lower back
š Lift and turn the hips to avoid impingement
